"Because I have been out and working like a dawg, for a change." Trying your hand at the Euro version of Catpuppy's passtime occupation, are you?

Business must be good. The witch has moved uptown.
To: catpuppy; grannie9
It sure seems to be — perhaps we could rent grannie out to cross the palms of the young ladies for silver.
To: Cardhu
Now that is a great idea! I see vast income potential.

Perhaps I will give you the West coast Franchise for a small consideration.
You do have contacts with the right type of clientele.

It seems your dependent Pup, is on the way to becoming independently wealthy.
To: Cardhu
Good. Maybe he can send me a check or two.

Queen Clotilde, wife of King Clovis, is shown training her three young children the art of hurling the ax in order to avenge the death of their father.
Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema

The Education of the Children of Clovis (1861)
This one in New York also claims to be the painting of the same subject by Alma-Tadema. Now Miz Jaggers you love research - solve the problem for us. :)

Unfortunately, nully has the west coast franchise for all things involving witches and basements. I, on the other hand (and on another coast), am located in the same state as grannie and would be available to keep her well supplied with taro cards, eye of gnut and hair of gnome—and to collect whatever profits she might make.

I always imagined you strolling along the California beaches taking inventory of - never mind.
Well, there you have it — and grannie does not need to travel. Gnuts, and hair of gnomes sound very interesting much more potent that eye of newt, toe of frog, wool of bat and tongue of dog.
Sounds like a charm of powerful trouble. And Gran’s natural wit and wisdom will carry her though the silver counting and heavy breathing parts of her repertoire.
And you good Pup will keep the hell-broth boiling and bubbling.
How can we fail?
Ahem! Pup - can you make pigs fly?

We had better not let Sweets see those kids hurling axes around - she would certainly cause trouble for Clotilde.
