Nor did I concerning this year's games. I merely reminded the Sharkster that the vaunted Ohio State, last year's "big" 10 champion and frequent slayer of the Michigan Do-overs, was clobberized by Florida for the BCS Championship last year by a score of 41-14. That is where his confused, cold-soaked mind comes up with the 27 point thing.

He is not to be blamed. Decade upon decade of frostbite summers and winters too cold to measure would cause anyone's mind to seize up.

"What happened?"

Well, I got the first black eye when I got up in the middle of the night about a week before Christmas and walked into the corner of the hall closet. 4 days later, I was going through scrapbooks looking for a page, and whacked myself in the other eye. Then, on New Year's Eve, I had a bad allergic reacton to something that made my face and lips swell up really bad. My face is still a little puffy today, but almost back to to normal.

He called me the night I got to Kentucky and I told him about my dad making a joke about him beating the h *ll out of me. He got REAL quiet for a minute. I told him not to worry...that if my dad thought for a minute there was any truth to that, it would not be a joking matter. Fact is, my dad knows me well enough to know I wouldn't put up with that off NOBODY.
