Hey, I'm not whining (gloating is much more......likely.....:-), no need for that up here as it is a done deal now......it's Pup and his silly "the SEC is always better by 27 points" that has been whining, not me.

That they finally were healthy is the key. Particularly Henne. He is clearly a pro QB, we shall see if Tebow does as well. Henne outplayed the Heisman man child, and clearly throws the ball better. Floriduh's best player is Harvin, and Tebow is very good. IMHO, Oregon's QB is far better, and it is too bad he was hurt as they would have been the consensus Heisman candidate, and they would be the # 1 team playing Ohio State had he not been.

First correction.......Henne was hurt at the end of the first quarter against Oregon, and was hurt for the rest of the season, precipitously so for the last two games of the season when they shot him up with pain killers and in a million to one chance, hit a nerve that made it virtually impossible to play at all. But for that, LSU would likely be playing another team other than Ohio State. A healthy Henne is really hard to stop as Urban Whiner found out.

Second correction.....the score was not indicative of the game. Michigan only stopped themselves (Urban Whiner actually admitted that), two fumbles (the only two of this season for Hart, who is still shocked he fumbled at all.......shocked because he never fumbles, he really doesn't, never has) inside the five, and a freak tip for an interception. Michigan could have easily won by 3 touchdowns, and the stats show it. Floriduh was lucky to be so close at the end.

Concerning A state: A state won their division (national champs) for an unprecedented third time this year. Trust me, they would beat half the SEC teams and be close with the ones they lost to, and durst I say it....yes I can.....Floriduh as well as we now all know......so I think the football world has learned something this past week.

I am happy coach Carr went out with a win, he is a class act.

I will root for LSU, even though I think it will be close.

Blah ... blah ... blah. Win one game and suddenly summer has come to your polar home. Well it hasn't although your polar climate seems to have migrated southward, just like those Michiganders lucky enough to get out of there before being overrun by crime, rust and/or glaciers.

Always remember:

APPALACHIAN STATE!

Breathe, my precious friend, take a deep breath, relax and enjoy.

Thanks for the good wishes for LSU. This town has BCS Fever.

You need to learn to make peace with winter when it's here.

BTW, I could make peace better with winter if "here" was there, with you....and not here with ME. You can KEEP it, and I'll be quite happy and peaceful about that. : )

I like down hill a lot too. There is something about the deep woods in the snow that is just incredibly beautiful. God's power and quiet whispers on display.

Well....I do have a nice fireplace to lounge around after skiing.......

I'm breathing nice and easy watching the future offense of Michigan overwhelm Oklahoma.......a second great recruiting night.........however, deep in the great country of the SEC........I somehow think Louisiana is not so overconfident as it was before yesterday..........their overwhelming 27 point victory has evaporated overnight......

Just tell your friends to breathe easy........cause they won't be during the game......

:-)

GOOD MORNING ALL

Charles Edouard Boutibonne

A group of three young lady tourists (plus the young daughter of one of them in the 1870 version) are hill-walking above a Swiss lake accompanied by their even younger guide, a local lad familiar with the terrain. Alpine walking had become a fashionable holiday pursuit by the mid nineteenth-century...

Boutibonne may well have modeled his young mountaineers on the ladies of good family he had met in England, and even pokes a little gentle fun. Their latest town fashions are hardly suitable for mountain climbing, while the girl in red is unaccustomed to the sunshine let alone the hills, perching her hat on the top of her walking stick as a parasol (only in the 1870 version).

I could not find the 1870 Version.
