Ok - I do have a card for the CD rental place so I may venture down there in the New Year to check it out.

I am sure Sharky would let me have some Thunderbird from his stash.

Heh.

That Thunderbird you drink competes with Ripple quite well.

I think I last tried something like that when I was 17. I will gladly send over my share for your bottle if you can prove you drank it in one night.

As well as send you some Alka Seltzer.......

Carly would do well with the Ripple.......

Perhaps his pics would be cockeyed for a few hours, but hey.......

Less expensive, is not the same as “beverage for the economical drinker” or “Bum wine.”

Of course, many years ago in Spain, when a new bar opened it had free drinks of what I called 2 peseta wine - white wine served from a barrel to a jug into small white bowls. More of it spilt on the wooden tables than in the bowls.

You couldn’t´t move in the place for all the millionaires who were there for the free wine.

I used to meet all the shipowners, bankers, movers and shakers - absolutely shameless.

Good booze is rarely cheap.

When it is, like you.....I'm first in line.......

:-)

Cheap booze, however, is most always just that. Rotgut is a kind description, and you'd have a hard time persuading me to ingest it.....

Thunderbird beats Ripple by a mile.

Of course I was only there as the BIL of an owner of several ocean going fishing vessels and factor for many more. And of course, as a keen observer of the social scene for this post I intended to write 40 years later.

Spoken like one who has deep knowledge of such things.....

:-)

Too much of either and you begin to start seeing ducks with bottles on their heads and snakes around their necks........

Well, well....

Cosmic proof there was something tasty in those 40 to 60 gallon urns at that wedding......

But I'm betting it was a lot better than Thunderbird!
