Thank you and that is courageous but I thought I did read where everyone was off.
I skipped over dozens of short dresses and searched for long, petite dresses or one that could be easily altered and affordable. LOL :)
Hey, gran :) Good on Al, for letting you sleep while he got out and took care of bidnez this morning. :)
Um, what a pretty nightime shot. Gosh, looks like they’ve built up every inch of space all along that entire sweep of coastline.
I’m not completely opposed to a long dress. I was just thinking that I would get more use out of a shorter one..although thatpurple one wouldn’t work for many occasions! I’m fixin’ to head downtown to check out a couple of the local boutiques.
Well, hello stranger. :) How are you doing ?
Morning Grannie,
My older daughter and her hubby went down to Southern Utah to be with his family, came back in the afternoon and we got together for pies in the evening. As families do when they are Macintosh fanatics, we all gathered on the floor for a big light show on the ceiling, featuring a new screen saver that Mac has put out. It goes through your photo collection, I have a few thousand on my computer, and assembles them into montages, picking a random photo as a target. It zooms out, and you see more and more photos tiled into a picture, and when you are way out, you recognize the picture it is creating. It may have picked a photo of a face, and tiled many of your other photos into the pixels of the face, and at some point you suddenly recognize what it is going to become. Then it keeps zooming out and does it over and over. We listened to Enya music and had fun guessing what picture it was creating next. It created a red picture of everybody around a camp fire and that picture became a red star in a galaxy.
This morning I met my Wife and daughters passing by my morning hot-chocolate shop, they have decided on red, silver, and black Christmas ornaments and they are hitting all the shops looking for matching balls, ribbons, and decorations.
Talked to an artist I often meet in the hot-chocolate shop, she found out Tuesday she has MS. The MRI showed trouble on her brain. Poor lady.
You also have more options as far as wraps go with short dresses unless you have fur(s). It will, most likely, be pretty chilly up there so unless you have something warm and pretty to coverup with, coming and going, the extra length of a long dress will be mighty nice.
I do have a couple of nice coats, but nothing long. I also have a friend who has lots of nice accesories, jackets, etc. She’s offered to let me borrow whatever I need. That could help a lot.
The captain and maybe a member of the crew stay until they are absolutely certain that the she is sinking - due to the law of the sea.
Many ships thought to be sinking, did not sink and the first person to put a line aboard an abandoned vessel can claims ownership. Nice way to pick up a cruise ship.
If there is the slightest danger everyone leaves except for the Captain, as long as someone is aboard the ship has not been abandoned.
Thats great. You’re making progress, then. :)
You certainly can gran — I will even give you a little push to overcome your nerves- :)
That area is coming along nicely - when you own a place you like to see it develop, unless you live in the country with a few thousand acres.
I have finished packing and waiting for the time to pass so I can be on my way.. I had better put the alarm on tonight - can´t oversleep when I have to leave - although not that early about 8:45.
They tell me we are going to Gozo on Sunday. I don´t think there is much in Gozo, that is the small island to the northwest - they say it is green - has some sort of micro climate all to its self.
LOL...you may have to give me a squeeze first...and then the push... ;) (You know...that may be a narrow ladder.)
No matter...I’ll do the same for you old man.
Hi back, Doggie. That Mac proggie sounds very interesting. I was just wondering what ceiling I could use that on, and besides not having a Mac, I don’t think we have too many ceilings without a central fan..lol.
Wow, send us a pic of that beautiful tree when you get it done, as it sounds very nice. I wish we had a big tree here, but I’m wondering where I could put one. I’ll have to give it some thought....again.
Sad news about your artist friend. Not something you want to hear no matter how you earn your living. :(
Thanks Gran,
Hope you get a lovely Christmas tree soon.
Hey Doggie, maybe I’ll just decorate my artificial palm trees that already have lights on them, and bring in my lighted palm tree from the lanai and put it in the living room?
Sort of a Christmas in the tropics?
Then Al won’t have to find room to store a bigger Christmas tree. ;)
Have a safe and fun trip, Cardy. If you can, post from there and send us some fab pics, ok?
Will be waiting to hear from you.
....and be nice so the kids don’t throw you out. ;)
Hope you all ate well are divested and rested for the next round on the horizon!:)
Please shoot me.
