Okay. While I was out shopping yesterday, I had one of those "have to have it" moments. I bought a GORGEOUS, but not so practical, silk camisole. It is between a mocha and chocolate brown and has somewhat ornate beading in turquoise, red and gold around the neckline, the length of the straps and a little down the front. Obviously it is meant to be worn as outerwear. Here's my problem: a tad too much cleavage for wearing to work...or about anywhere else for that matter (at least it's a bit outside MY comfort zone). I need ideas of what to wear under it to make it doable. The best thing I've thought of so far is a red lace stretch cami underneath....but it would have to fit like a second skin. Anything that adds any bulk will effect the look and fit of the top. Gold would look nice, too. I thought turquoise would, and it COULD work, but turquoise is the color closest to the edge on the top, so putting turquoise under it dilutes it in the top. I tried it with one I already had. I've heard of lace inserts, but am not sure what to look for or where? Any ideas?
Hmmmm....perhaps I shold ping the men. They do seem to have more expertise in this area than you would think, perhaps from hanging out at the mall fondling admiring decorative undergarments at Victoria's Secret.
