Malkin quits The Factor…
Inside Cable ^

Posted on 10/14/2007 2:11:23 PM PDT by Republican Red

Inide Cable News has obtained an email written by Michelle Malkin that states she has quit doing The O’Reilly Factor…

From: “Michelle Malkin”
To: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Date: Fri, 12 Oct 2007 23:04:58 -0400

Subject: Re: Michelle no longer on the Factor?

I made the decision to quit appearing on the O’Reilly show in response to the poor handling of the Geraldo Rivera matter (the staged “apology” on The Factor was a complete farce). I won’t go into details, but please know that your support means a lot to me. You can catch me on other Fox News shows and read my daily blog posts and weekly columns at MichelleMalkin.com.

Best,
Michelle

Michelle has more balls than most of the men in Congress. She could teach them a thing or two.

Thanks for describing what all happened as I missed it. Wonder if O’Reilly has or will speak about her decision?

Where Michelle Malkin goes...I follow.

And now I won’t have to suffer Jerry Rivers in order to catch her
on-air appearances!!!

"It’s good she’s in D.C. and I’m in New York," Rivera sneers. "I’d spit on her if I saw her."

Geraldo, go back to Chicago and Al Capone's bank vault - be sure to close the door after you enter. Either that, or we'll ship you out to the sunken wreckage of the Titanic.

It will be interesting to see if O’Reilly explains Malkin’s exit from his show. I bet he ignores the whole situation.

I wonder if folks know the courage it takes to throw off the number-one rated cable "news" show on TV and the big gorilla that sits in the chair.

Most others of O'Reilly's contributors and regular guests humbly take his contemptuous remarks, his interruptions, his put-downs and his arrogance without question and without any personal pride or show of independence.

I hope this doesn't affect Miss Malkin's invitations to appear on other programs on Fox. O'Reilly has a long memory and casts a long shadow.

Indignation is her bread and butter;
I imagine this gave her the perfect excuse to end her association with those two retards in a quick and clean fashion.

Notice no “it has been my pleasure working with these two over the years” stuff; she had to know this e-mail would go public. We’re supposed to believe she was intimidated by Geraldo Rivera?

“That’s why I keep the clicker at hand - to make Whorealdo gone any time he appears on my TV screen.”

OMGosh, I do that too. When I forget to take my clicker to the kitchen and he comes on, I sprint across the living room to change the channel, LOL. Startles my dog.

Jesse Jackson gets the same treatment. GAG

I bet we aren’t alone. I just know there are hundreds, maybe thousands of us who hear that voice or see that face, and voila! Fox News vanishes into the ether...

No wonder I haven't seen her on there anymore.

She was the only reason I watched that show. Dang it all.
