The way back machine is really fun!! I wonder why tmz pulled the pictures. Ohhh probably because at that time they were busy being on Stern’s side. Look at how pathetic Howie is. A hanger on...a leech...disgusting. Anna looks happy. I think she was somewhat clean during this time.
Frankly, I don't have the imagination to come up with the ideas that cons, grifters, and other assorted lawbreakers do. If those people put as much effort into something good instead of their nefarious plots then the world might come close to heaven on earth.
It must be nice to have such great imaginations that people can use to figure out how these grifters, cons, and lawbreakers work.
I wish I knew where to find out about trusts, especially if there are trusts in Gary and Michelle's names.

In another world wide web exclusive, The Bald Truth has obtained the first round of fiery motions in the $60 million libel suit suit Howard K. Stern filed against author Rita Cosby and her publisher over salacious charges in her book about Anna Nicole Smith, “Blonde Ambition.”
While Stern has charged Cosby tried to “influence the testimony of two witnesses in this case,” the nannies who worked for the late Playboy centerfold, and fears evidence may vanish and other witnesses may be tampered with unless depositions are taken fast, the author’s lawyer dismisses the need for speedy discovery.
In her opposition, respected attorney Elizabeth McNamara argues Stern “fails to articulate good cause for this court to deviate from” standard rules of discovery.
But Stern’s aggressive lawyer, Lin Wood, in a motion filed Friday in U.S. District Court in New York, insists audiotapes made of Cosby discussing payments to the nannies offer “good cause for … limited expedited discovery” of Cosby’s “attempts to interfere with potential witnesses” in the libel case.
Wood cites the audiotape transcripts secretly made of Cosby discussing payment as proof something was rotten in Nassau, and that the tapes show “Cosby offered to pay two critical fact witnesses” for an affadavit in support of her reporting that never did include interviews with them earlier.

“With such clear intent, the question then becomes to what extent did Cosby attempt to influence other fact witnesses and to what extent did Cosby attempt to influence other fact witnesses, and…attempted to illegally shape or stymie discovery of the truth,” writes Wood in his reply to support expedited discovery. “Cosby’s actions have potentially compromised both the integrity of the judicial process…and Stern’s right to a fair trial.”
Wood is asking that Stern “may immediately depose Cosby on the limited topic of her attempts to influence” the nannies, but reserve the right to question her further on other aspects of the case later.
But McNamara says speeding up the process would not just create a “sideshow,” but be costly and slow down the six month schedule the judge has laid down as a timetable for all discovery to be completed.
Beyond that, she attaches transcripts of audiotapes Cosby made of the nannies’ PR man, Lincoln Bain, who made damning tapes of the ex-MSNBCer attempting to pay the nannies for an affadavit. In a sort of dueling tapes, McNamara says Cosby’s tapes were aired on FOX News on October 15 and show Bain contradicts himself and should not be trusted.
There’s also the implied issue of criminality. If Stern is charging Cosby broke the law by attempting to influence potential witnesses and the case is ever investigated by law enforcment authorities in the U.S. or the Bahamas, anything she says in even limited discovery could be used against her. In other words, if the judge allows speedy discovery before all the issues and facts are determined, McNamara appears to be suggesting her client might be forced to plead the 5th under questioning by Wood, if it ever gets that far.
The publisher also files a brief in support of Cosby.

KE did her residency at USC Medical Center in La and obtained her California License in 1978...when Howard was 12.
I didn't know WHEN KE tagged up with Stern AND ANNA....but I doubt Anna's meeting up with her was an accident.
Just like meeting Larry was no accident.
I also do not believe these were accidents. Maybe the link is between KE’s husband Wessley Irvine to the Stern family. He did send money to the Bahamas.
i was at the checkout at the supermarket and noticed this issue. i thought i had bought it, but Lin Wood must have been my checker, because a thorough search of the car has not turned it up!
The cover said 8,196. As I was quickly scanning it prior to purchase (HA!) The article sources, the nannies. Don’t know where the 8,196 came from, maybe in the rest of the article??

Undermining Potential
This is a very troubled place. Take for example the fact that in one instance this week a gaggle of these poorly socialized youth stoned a convoy of police cars sent to patrol the environs of their so-called school.

Few Bahamians remember that there was once a time when a Cabinet Minister was killed. Here the reference is to the late Charles ‘Chuck’ Virgil who was murdered in February 1997.
Sensibly and properly, this man is remembered by many, inclusive of his colleagues, his neighbours, his family and his multitude of friends.
We also remember that it was agreed and accepted in those times that the problem of crime was not one that should be politicized.
It was also agreed and accepted that the problem of crime in the Bahamas was one that merited nothing less than a national consensus as to the way forward.
This is still the way to go.
That is why we decry any and all efforts made by anyone to pin the blame for crime on any one party in today’s Bahamas, that is why we disagree with the Rt. Hon. Hubert Ingraham when he claims that, “It was a national disgrace that the Progressive Liberal Party spent five years in office and left the judicial system in the mess that it is in today.”
As the record shows, the Free National Movement –in office for a decade- did have its own fair share of crime-related problems.
The same applies to a Progressive Liberal Party that was in office when Mr. Ingraham himself happened to be a member of the high command in that party.
Today crime’s bloody beat continues.
