JD Drew couldn’t even hit inferior NL lefties. He has no prayer against Sabathia. The Indians are tough on him, period. He has 16 plate appearances against Indians pitchers this year and he was on base twice— a walk and a line drive single to CF.

Fox sucks
just not as bad as Tourette’s Broadcasting Station
You know, I want the Sox to win but having seen the Yankees fall and us advance deeper I can live with whatever outcome. Simply put, we were better this year and how many times do we get to brag about that?
I like the fact that Dice-K is getting a lot of rest between starts. I don’t know if I like the Wakefield situation though. Lester might have to play a larger role.
Dan Shaughnessy of the Glob had to run a story today on the Indian’s mascot and Ellsbury. Glad to see that Jacoby isn’t PC.
Drew on the bench for game 1 is good. He would have gotten pwned by CC. I don’t see Kielty as a huge upgrade though.

I’m not arguing the point that Drew should sit this game, but that he is hitting better now than he did most of the season.
To: Reagan79
What a stubborn a-hole he is. He wants to pull everything instead of working the ball away. Result is DPs.

Sox fans are actually okay as long as we don’t have to play the Yankees. Trot is still very much loved by BoSox fans.

Better to be the Indians than Cowboys.
Indians get to open all the casinos while the Cowboys have to deal with the cancerous T.O..

These two teams are both excellent well balanced ballclubs and I can’t help but think that they are so alike that this could be a classic.

as long as the trash talking is kept to a minimum. We Red Sox fans have no problem with the Indians, and in fact, respect the team and their fans.
This is a very closely matched series, and I wish Cleveland and their fans all the best.
Now, with all that said...

Go Red Sox.

Agreed... I never thought I’d be thankful for FOX and McCarver’s bloviations... Then again - here in occupied NE - we’re spoiled by NESN.

Is it trash talking to point out that TBS should be permanently banned from broadcasting another postseason sporting event?

Game is televised on FOX Be careful what you wish for, we got Joe Buck and Tim McCarver. Think I'll turn off the sound and listen to the MLB Audio feed.
