Thsnks for the tip.

The big problem we have here in Houston is thunder & lightening storms. They are always cutting everything off. If my sattlelite doesn’t go out once a week; I consider myself fortunate. Just changed to what I hope are good surge protectors.

Yea, buy a nice commercial grade APC for any high end electronics if you have this problem.

Every type has its drawbacks. Mine is a Mitsubishi 55" rear projection HDTV. It has performed flawlessly and I am very happy with the resolution.

They may take up a bit more space than a LCD or plasma, but if it's picture quality you're after, go with a rear projection.
