Well thank God they figured that out...we can all get on with our lives now.

we can all get on with our lives now. No, no, no ... We must all band together to put a stop to these 'knots' and the havoc they inflict on society. These so-called scientists have done a great service to their country and to mankind in general by discovering the root-causes of these hideous monsters that invade our everyday lives. Just think of the eradication of the evils of tangled string, snarled thread and the ever-malicious interwoven phone cords. We have been saved in the nick of time. Great job O' anonymous researchers. The world is in your debt.

If my wife rolls up a 50ft extension cord it will be the most frustrating thing to untangle. For some reason she does not understand that taking out the twist and letting the cord ... lay into your hand naturally makes it so much easier to lay out the next time it is needed! She does the same thing with the vacuum’s cord ... wraps it around her elbow and hand in a figure eight pattern ... It is why I don’t vacuum!

Hey, great research! Maybe they can tell me how my Chihuahua can tie a knot a sailor can't untie?

the experiment was but a prelude to the dissertation study.....can a million monkeys working a million hours tie a fishnet?
They are waiting for the grant before actually starting the work in the lab.
