[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

good night all, rest well and sweet dreams, even if I’m not in them. (I’m that sort of almost-like-Errol-Flynn character who keep swing through the scene on a rope, sword in one hand yelling “Avast ye Lubbers!” Oh, you don’t have those sort of dreams? And I thought I was deprived (No I did NOT say depraved, that’s that other guy who sort of looks like me, you know the one, goes by the name of NYA!)

Hot Chocolate for you!
We are having another sunny cool day..high will reach the mid
70s. I turned off the heat this morning in anticipation of a warm
afternoon.

Yummy, thanks for the hot chocolate, the temp outside has not reached 50F. It is a gorgeous day outside -bright sunshine. I have stuck my head out for the paper and mail, it is nice out there.

The weather report is for a warming during the week. Okay by me. ;0) Enjoy your day.

A brilliant monarch butterfly seeking the lazy sun
passed me in the brightness of day with a jaunted air
as if to it, would never knew a single whit or care
and it made me smile, and then laugh in honest fun

I remember the days that touched me deepest with life
and I remember then and now how I reached beyond myself
and found there as if idle upon a long forgotten shelf
a different heart, a soul less worn a joy without strife

Outta bed you feather merchants, you can sleep when your dead!
Rise and shine. I’m here at the coffee shop for a day or writing in my latest book, so you can get up and produce a bit too! (Sleeping like a baby were you!?!)

Heres breakfast;

Hash browns with cheese and fried onions (if desired)
Bacon hot off the grill
Wheat or Sourdough toast with butter and assorted jellies
Eggs (to order)
Milk, (so cold the glass sweats)
Juice (Your choice)
Coffee, coffee, coffee
And for you nibblers, a Cinnamon roll, hot with butter

Hit the deck and give me twenty, you’re burning daylight!!!!
