[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

My allergies are goin’ strong..It’s cedar that does in Texans this time of the year..I’m not sick with the allergy.but I may buy stock in Kleenex.

I hear you. I’ve got COPD with chronic bronchitis and allergies. It could be from breathing in the frangrant mold and mildews of autumn leaves. They rot and it can rot. It’s still beautiful.

Now this is one HAPPY kid!

I do remember my own conquests of them pesky leaf piles. Great forts and wonderful jumping fun, especially when your dog gets to dig down and find you hiding in the leaves.

What is going on here! What put us all to sleep? I slept 13 1/2 hours last night!

I think it is something left over from Halloween. One of those goblins, or witches must have put a spell on us. Maybe someones elves got loose and bewitched us, sure is curious.

Well, we know who has been missing around here. Then he has the brass to check in as a snoozer, LOL.

Then LJ shows up admitting -boldly admitting she has put a spell on us. Well guess that solves the sleeping bug that has invaded the Lair.

The weather has been super for sleeping especially after a very long night. Currently it is 73 and the sun is shining brightly. Hope that everyone is well or recuperating nicely.

Ah, yes, some mighty plans were made in those leaf piles.

I played hide and seek in them, too. With other kids as well as my St. Bernard.
