My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Sorry dear your parents are out.
They left us in charge.

If the physical therapist hadn’t worked me so hard I would have been out in the yard this afternoon. She sent me home pooped and yawning today.
It was mid 60s today and I wore shorts and a tee. Another beautiful day!

It was a little nippy here, but beautiful, my hands were so cold they had trouble getting any blood from me.

Well, it is smelling pretty good about now. I have to begin paring and chopping some veggies soon.
It’s just about dark out now, but there is a patch of light between the dark clouds. Kinda spooky.

Oh update on the sky, there was a star twinkling —gone now covered by clouds. It was awesome for a brief moment.

I know what you mean about PT sessions..exhausting!
We are all being blessed with great autumn weather.
I am not a winter person..Usually our really bad cold spells are brief but I do dread it nonetheless. I think short cold days and less sunshine are hard on the psyche. I'm going to enjoy these days of autumn.
I have bought a bunch of energy saving light bulbs..Guilt free light for those dark days!

I’m grilling steaks. Twice I’ve read you star report and went out to see what we have and I forgot. It’s beautiful out, that’s all I know. LOL!

The cool weather suits me just fine. Only cold thing I don’t like is driving on icy roads, otherwise I’m fine with winter.
Winter is beautiful. How else can your whole world turn into a beautiful new wonderland overnight.

Oh gee whiz you’re giving me the shivers, cause I know that kind of weather so well. We have had a taste of it already.
Come on over for some hot stew at my shack. ;)
To: Lady Jag

OK, Hot stew sounds good, I’d say the drive should take about three days, so put it on the back burners.

Will do, and by the time you get here the stew should really be getting good and flavorful. I tasted it again this evening, needs salt. I used stewing beef and one beef shank bone with marrow. Yummy.

Over Irish hills the winds chase dreams
and magic flows o’er the land of Erin
in silent tides to the moon’s pull again
and things can happen so real it seems
Let your true heart believe and you will know
of all the things that can, and will, be so real
that they leave memories etched in a soul’s seal
and you carry them from day to day, again to sow
Listen to the sigh of the night winds soft
and of the tales they do tell of things past
things you hold inside that came and went so fast
and each did your spirit set its hold and loft

That stew sounds awesome, down home good and hot on the stove.
We always had a big pot of stew going on the stove for the hands on the ranch in winter, best thing to thaw us out with.
