This report hopes to assist in protecting the right of the people to keep and bare arms, individually and collectively, for the safety of the individual, and for the safety of the nation. There are certain fundamental laws and principles over which public officials have no authority to alter or to deny--not even if they profess to have acquired the 'consent of the governed'. In this case, prohibiting possession and use of arms is not possible, because those rights which have been endowed upon man by the Creator are unalienable, and nor revocable by mankind. The purpose of this report is to show how 'consent of the governed' has become abused, and how government officials in the lead state with the help of change agents had set out to destroy the essential and unalienable right of the people to keep and bare arms, by setting into motion unauthorized and unlawful procedures and then pretend that they operated under the 'consent of the governed'.

Sorry, I forgot to ask, what part of the 2nd amendment don’t you understand?
Just keep telling yourself that over and over.
Have you ever asked yourself just what the un is? And what are it's goals?
should felons have the right to carry guns legally? just answer that simple question and it will determine if we can talk further.
i'm talking about convicted felons.
as a follow up, should convicted felons have the right to vote?
(Weve already discussed that possible scenario between ourselves. You dont us or what we are made of.)
WOW..You must have a gun IN YOUR HAND when you buy groceries. They can escort you to your home. They have the power of government. I would never knock on your door. I would wait until you were almost into your car. Or when you walk out the door at work. These people are trained for non-confrontational raids. Do you mow your lawn? Bingo
Not felons convicted of a violent act.

If they've paid their debt to society-yes. They pay taxes too. Do you believe in taxation without representation?
Stop assuming you know us.
Pretty good answers.
I don’t know if it’s true any more, but at one time it was a felony to carry Mace (unlicensed) here in Kaliforneeya. But carrying an unlicensed handgun was a misdemeanor.

***Actually, I started a keyword just because I started noticing that some LEOs were NOT being trained in non-confrontational raids. The keyword was “adrenaline cowboys”. They could have picked up David Koresh at the store when he was getting his groceries once/week. Similarly at Ruby Ridge.
Of course they are. There are always unintended consequences however when things get confrontational.

Another case of up is down and right is wrong.
really though, what i meant was that illegal guns as in guns in the hands of convicted felons. those are the guns committing most of the crime. guns that shoot people in the commission of a crime aren't bought at bob's gun store. they are bought from friends/family, traded for drugs, stolen, etc... so simply possessing them is a crime.
i support a short waiting period for handguns for a quick background check. but i do not care for restrictions on specific types of weapons. or, for that matter, restrictions on concealed carry permits for law-abiding citizens. interestingly, the cities with the strictest gun control laws also have the highest rate of gun crime. keeping guns out of decent citizens' hands is the wrong position.

Bookmark for later when I might go shopping for a new tagline.
Ouch....you are dead-on:Actually, I started a keyword just because I started noticing that some LEOs were NOT being trained in non-confrontational raids. The keyword was adrenaline cowboys. Bare or concealed is fine by me, just gimme back my bullets and leave me be...
I got it from Henry Bowman :>)
I’ll tell you what’s inevitable: A Civil War when they try to disarm us.
Personally, I enjoy the posters on FR who call me mentally deficient while they have yet to master the spellchecker provided by FR, and reading posts from them with no punctuation or capital letters verges on doing a puzzle. LOL! I know, I know. My tax dollars at work providing a public education "for the children" (not to mention the teacher's union!)
interestingly, the cities with the strictest gun control laws also have the highest rate of gun crime. keeping guns out of decent citizens' hands is the wrong position.
I second that.
You mean like they meekly gave up their guns in NOLA until the courts stopped them
