This is fashion commerce, not “speech” or “art”.

People are permitted to paint ONE painting of Elvis on black velvet canvas, but when they are produced in volume, there is an infraction.

I’d think the same would apply here. You can make such a shirt in the singular but when you produce them in volume for commercial sale, you are trafficking on their names.

But turnabout is fair play.

Let’s draw up a shirt exposing the phony soldiers names and sell them from coast to coast. On the reverse put the Congressmen who voted to condemn Rush Limbaugh.

I think this "business" is an accident waiting to happen.

We've been talking about this fool for a long time in Arizona. Basically, as scummy as he is, there probably can't be a law against him.

Interesting ideas have been for families to sue. I wondered about the feasibility of serving troops taking out restraining orders against him. A couple of hundred of those might make him think. But that's kind of far out.

This next is also my idea. I really think the most effective way to deal a blow to Dan Frazier would be to make a simple website detailing his lies and how terrorists are encouraged, also linking to DoD news articles about the war and troop support sites. Then make about 500 to 1000 T-shirts with

Terrorists Encouraged

Here's the thing. Take those shirts to Flagstaff and give them to people. First contact all patriotic organizations like GOP, Vet groups, and give them out. Use other creative ways until the town is blanketed in those shirts.

I don't have the money to do that but if I did, that's what I'd do.
