"Dan Frazier, a businessman from Flagstaff, Ariz., holds a T-shirt that uses the names of dead soldiers to make an anti-war statement in his home office in this photo from Tuesday May, 15 2007. Anti-war T-shirts displaying the names of slain American service members are political speech protected by the First Amendment, a federal judge ruled Thursday Sept. 27, 2007. A U.S. District Judge temporarily blocked enforcement of a new Arizona state law that makes it a misdemeanor to sell items that use names of slain troops without permission of their families."
"Dan Frazier stands in front of racks of T-shirts that use the names of dead soldiers to spell out political messages, in his Flagstaff, Ariz., home office Tuesday, May 15, 2007. A federal judge on Thursday, Sept. 27, temporarily blocked criminal enforcement of a new Arizona law that bans sales of items that use names of troops killed in Iraq without permission of their families."

Un-Constitutional? Retroactive legislation?Absolutely. The constitution prohibits both the US and any state from passing retroactive laws (not that that stopped Bush's 2001 retroactive tax cut or Clinton's retroactive tax hike or anything).

Yeah; I know, "ex-post facto", but today, the Constitution has been re-interpreted by Judges continuously to whatever the agenda is at that point in time.
If we were obligated to stick to the Constitution, we wouldn't have career politicians be-holdin' to every special interest known to man today....The People would have the power (which is what the Constitution provides), and the power of the Federal government would be left to the States.

We've been talking about this fool for a long time in Arizona. Basically, as scummy as he is, there probably can't be a law against him.
Interesting ideas have been for families to sue. I wondered about the feasibility of serving troops taking out restraining orders against him. A couple of hundred of those might make him think. But that's kind of far out.
This next is also my idea. I really think the most effective way to deal a blow to Dan Frazier would be to make a simple website detailing his lies and how terrorists are encouraged, also linking to DoD news articles about the war and troop support sites. Then make about 500 to 1000 T-shirts with
Dan Frazier Lied
Terrorists Encouraged
www.(the website).com
Here's the thing. Take those shirts to Flagstaff and give them to people. First contact all patriotic organizations like GOP, Vet groups, and give them out. Use other creative ways until the town is blanketed in those shirts.
I don't have the money to do that but if I did, that's what I'd do.
