It’s a hard sell, especially for a young coach and a team that’s been together without him for a while. I think it’ll take a loss in one of the push NFC West games we’ve got coming up to convince the players they really aren’t performing that well. Hopefully it won’t be the Seattle game, their fans will be insufferable if the Seahawks win that one.

They better be up for that game because you know that Seattle will be.

The good news is it’s in Pitt so the crowd will be on our side, and with Porter gone Seattle won’t be as pumped (I enjoy Porter on the field, but he did provide way too much bulletin board material). Gotta say I don’t mind the rotation giving us the AFC East and NFC West this year, 7 bad teams should make life a little easier. Of course our division mates get the same 7 bad teams but what the heck.

Which team in your division worries you the most?

The Bengals. Pretty much always. Even when the Bengals stink they always seem to have our number, and now that they don’t stink that could actually give them the inside track to the division. And that kind high flying “not quite the Colts” offense is always worrisome to ground pounder teams, sure if our defense holds their defense should let us have plenty of points, but you always have to fear their ability to throw TDs from their own 20.

For you I’m guessing it’s the Phins, not that they’ve been so awesome but the Bills and Jets have stunk it up so bad they can’t be on the threat list. Looks like the only place the Jets have a chance of beating the Pats is in Goodell’s office.

So I take it despite the Ravens defense you don’t have much fear of their offense putting enough points on the board.

The Ravens are annoying, but that weak offense lessens their threat potential. Although the way Boller played yesterday was pretty impressive, annoying too since I have McNair on one of my fantasy teams (bad luck on that draw).

Philly has a large Muzzy population... so the Deadskins should thank their luck stars it was just eggs that hit their bus!

Awwwwww. Sweet Allegra is peacefully sleeping... at 4AM in Baghdad. She won't have to watch her Deadskins get scalped by the Iggles.

Ya know... I think old Roger Goodell needs to come up with a way for the Deadskins and Iggles to both lose when they play each other. I know us Dallas fans would support it!

But she now dearly loves the Texans with an unequaled passion...

And has the same negatory feeling towards the 'Boys!

Best idea yet! I know that the Eagles whupping the 'Skins would be great for MY team - the 'Boys, of course! - but having lived in Filthydelphia for the longest two years of my life, I have earned the right to hate the Eagles with the white hot passion of a thousand suns, and thus desire that they lose every game they play, even scrimmages against girls' high schools. Hmmm...any way to get both teams to simultaneously forfeit? :-)

Yeah, if we could get video tape of both the Deadskins and Iggles assistant coaches video taping each other teams' defensive signals!
