Racy Burger Ad Leaves Teachers Furious

A fast food chains racy new advertising campaign has left at least one teachers organization demanding it be pulled.
The ad for St. Louis, Missouri-based Hardees Corporation features a sexy teacher, making provocative moves in front of the class while two students rap to a song called "Flat Buns, according to a report on myFOXstl.com.
"How irresponsible can you get? said the Tennessee Education Association in a statement on their website. At this very moment, there are female teachers in high school classrooms with 30+ students who are working hard to teach our children so that they can compete in today's world. It is unbelievably demeaning to every one of them to promote a television advertisement showing a young teacher gyrating on top of her desk while boys in the class rap about her body in order to sell hamburgers!"
Hardees claims the ad is obviously a spoof, pointing out that the target demographic for the ad is young men who find this type of ad campaign appealing.
The fast-food chain courted controversy before with a provocative hamburger ad featuring Paris Hilton.

Nobody seems to have noticed the real point of the ad:
The commercial is a spoof of Sir Mix-a-Lot's "Baby Got Back". White kids rapping "I like flat buns!" is the natural analogue to Sir Mix-a-Lot's taste for larger women.
As usual, these hypersensitive crybabies don't even know what the hell they are protesting.

Given how many teachers are having sex with their students, I'd call it art imitating life.

The professional ones - as opposed to the skanks - aren't offering an extracurricular side option.

I have seen some of their still commercials on the internet that could get me fired if the boss happened to walk by at that moment.

I like what Kathy Griffin had to say about white guys who “talk Black”...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EECuM5ih7PE
Although I have some friends who because of ‘busing’ went to >90% black schools in the Washington D.C. area. My friend from Long Island asked them why they sounded funny. ;)
A Black friend of theirs moved to San Diego some 10 years ago and when we get together it is funny because the black guy sounds more ‘white’ (because of San Diego) than the whites (who still live in Baltimore). So it is COOL, but only if it is not an affectation.
My best friend in High School was black and he caught a lot of flack from the local blacks for ‘acting white’. His mother was white, he never really knew his father......so if he ACTED black it would be exactly that, an act, and I doubt if he would be any more convincing than these white rappers talking about ‘flat buns’.

One wonders if these teachers would have had time to notice a silly commercial had they been busy teaching.

I don't think I was quite clear in what I was attempting to convey.
It was not the use of the term lady in the general sense, but rather, it's usage by indylindy, given her previous posts on the subject.
Personally, I don't have any problem with the commercial.
Their product on the other hand.........

Bottoms up.
