In marriage the person that cares the most wins the point over time. I’ve got the TV remote, she’s got the camera, I’m not allowed to ask my two year old to pull my finger if I’m gassy, and we still haven’t figured out if the ceiling fan should be on or off at night. She’s getting smart though . . . she tried a new argument yesterday on the ceiling fan . . . that fans are cheaper than air conditioning and we could raise the temperature a degree or two at night if we had the fan on. She may win this one. This is the first time she’s had to resort to logic in an argument.

What you should do is haul the damned TV out the door, and dump it in the creek, before it’s too late! Then, you need to load your kid up, and get away from the Janie Fonda wannabee as fast as you can. Hell, I don’t expect you will, if it means giving up TV! Can you even imagine life without CATV?
