Kathy Griffin's Bravo series "My Life on the D-List" won the Emmy for "Best Reality Program (non-competition).
Her speech was memorable, in which she refused to thank Jesus.
"A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this. He had nothing to do with this," Griffin said. "Suck it, Jesus. This award is my God now."
The comic has won that Emmy she’s long coveted.
drzz, most people already DO boycott Ms. Griffin due to the fact that she claims to be a comedian...but isn’t funny. Her lack of talent is enough of a career killer.
I think Bill needs to lay off having pizza before bedtime.
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord - either in his presence or under his judgement. No one gets a ‘glimpse’ of hell, just as no one gets a peek at heaven, until they are dead and facing the judgment seat of God.
God’s will, revealed in his Word, shows us enough of hell.
Just goes to proove that beauty is only skin deep but ugly goes all the way through.
Jesus took a lot more abuse than this talentless hag can even dream of dishing out, and came out on top. Jesus is saddened, because He loves this woman, but otherwise unscathed. Pray that she sees the truth soon.
I actually feel somewhat sorry for her. She relies on a golden calf for solace while having no idea what she’s really missing out on.
God will forgive, but his forgiveness requires the sinner to turn to Him and ask for it. She condemns HERSELF with this outrageous statement. You know, every one is NOT going to go to heaven.
Good for you. More should emulate. Did not have a TV in our home for 12 years while raising our 3 boys. They all have left and are now raising their own families. Like you, I finally saw the light again and banned the TV about 3 years ago.

Of course God would forgive her but she has to repent and ask for His forgiveness first. I don’t see her doing that but with God, all things are possible.
God created the Heavens and the Earth. God is in control of all. Who are we to believe ourselves capable of such? We have been given a commission to make use of his gifts, but to His honor, not to ours. All we do must be done with that in mind or we are failures.
For those here who believe God will overlook blasphemy, I suggest a studious reading of the Bible.
For those who say she was in jest, I would suggest they consider doing the same, and see how their conscience reacts. If they find no objection they perhaps need an awakening themselves.
Oh please, of course she is transparent. Why should we ignore her?She wanted our attention. We as Christians should give her all the attention she wants. Tough love is good love. She can buy the self love/self help from psychologists. From what I have seen ,the self esteem movement does not help people who are circling the drain. Besides which, we are giving her help for free.
I call for jihad against Kathy Griffin. Death to those who insult Jesus!
The unfortunate reality is that when Muslims say this, they really mean it. And they act on it.
In my book, she’ll be cutting edge only when she says “ Suck it, Allah.”
