I would classify "Teaching a cat to swim" as "Failed suicide attempt."

Thanks for the ping. Boy that cat has some big eyes!

Check this one out—husband showed it to me the other day:

I took my cat Yoda into the pool with me many times. He would yeowl for me when I went in without him, so I brought him in, then he promptly swam out when I let him go. We did this almost every evening one summer. If he really hated to swim, he didn’t have to follow me to the pool. He much preferred to go for car rides.

I have always understood that cats could swim. Cats die in pools because they cannot climb out and become exhausted.

Exactly. The idiot owner has just encouraged her cats to jump in and drown.

The Royal White Bengal tiger is about 3m (10 ft) long, and weighs approximately 180-285 kg (400-569 lb). Its coat lies flatter than that of the Siberian tiger, the tawny color is richer and the stripes are darker.

White tigers are white-coloured Bengals, they are not albinos and they are not a separate subspecies of tigers.

They have blue eyes, a pink nose, and creamy white fur covered with dark, chocolate-coloured stripes. White tigers are born to tigers that carry the unusual gene needed for white coloring. Wild white tigers are rare.

They are usually found in habitats in central and southern India. The Royal White Bengal tiger lives in grassy or swampy areas and forests, where they can be well-camouflaged.
