I have always understood that cats could swim. Cats die in pools because they cannot climb out and become exhausted.

Exactly. The idiot owner has just encouraged her cats to jump in and drown.

I think that is the case as well.

It gets hot down here and I have tossed my cats in the pool many times. Good little swimmers who head straight for the steps. ;)
