The Lobstermen across the way bring in the morning catch. I would watch this each morning while drinking coffe and petting the a big ol Newfie named "Cole" who would lie at my feet.

Nope, The silk helps retain the water. Just pull it off with the husk. Use the silk to pull the husk off by split’n it at the top and pull apart.

Some mornings were livened by “downeastahs” who would attempt to lauch their boats at low tide.
The Lobster men would take a break and have a coffee to watch this fun. One fellow liked it so much he would climb up on the roof tro get a better vantage point of the antics.
Bang! Smash! The Downeastah would get a good runnin start and slap right into a rock! L0L
