I’m posting this thread to share our recent adventure into the great state of Maine!

First of all, LOVE your name and tag -

we’re flying into Boston, staying in Cambridge a few days, then renting a car to drive up into Maine - perhaps mid-Maine. We leave here Tues (4th), and return the 14th. We have all the tourist books, etc. - my husband is a sailor (so I’m sure we’ll enjoy all the windjammer, ferries, whale watching [any companies better than others?] etc.), and we have a driving tour printout that starts in Bangor - but leads into Bar Harbor - which was described earlier as “crowded, touristy”.

We’re in our *young* 60’s - love scenery, architecture, art and anything we can do in t-shirts and jeans - low price is a real turn on.

Not sure where you are located, and if you can help, but I’ll return the favor if you ever have the opportunity to visit fabulous Kansas City. Thanks! Sandy

The captain of the Pink Lady II kept watch
for possible whale/porpoise sightings
