Hiring felons is tricky business. Even though there are federal incentives, the media can and does crucify those who do.

There is a new mayor here who surveyed local business and found those willing to hire felons and then had a job fair. 200 people got jobs the first day. It woud be very interesting to see if recidism could be reduced by helping felons find jobs like this. Most go a year without, now, after getting out of jail.

I have a close friend who was convicted of income tax evasion......he is about as likely to recede as I am :-)
