Ladies and Gentleman, Peeps of All Three Sexes, the College football season is here!!!

Tonight's slate works out a little somethin' like this (Due to East Coast bias, all times are Eastern):

7:00 PM Buffalo at #16 Rutgers

7:00 PM Miami (OH) at Ball State

7:00 PM Southeast Missouri State at Cincinnati

7:30 PM Murray State at #10 Louisville

8:00 PM #2 LSU at Mississippi State

8:00 PM Kent State at Iowa State

8:00 PM Southeastern Louisiana at New Mexico State

8:05 PM UNLV at Utah State

9:00 PM Weber State at #24 Boise State

And in a few short hours, I'll be heading on a jet plane to the West for:

10:00 PM Utah at Oregon State

Break out a case of Pabst, throw some steaks on the grill, and find a foam finger, the season is here!

I can’t wait for the new polls. It’ll be fun to see how far Michigan drops.

After the national title game last year, he disappeared. So I’m taking over for the time being.

I was quite disappointed also. However, this Buckeye fan would like to interview Brett Musburger this morning. That puke really pushes the Michigan agenda, particularly vs OSU. Let's ask him if he wants Carr's head on a platter

Appy Pappy has a new team!

Not to highjack this thread, GOP_R, but could you please help me identify the team these girls support? I'm having trouble reading the letters

USC was a 46 point favorite over Idaho.They won 38 to 10...just 28 points.Not as bad as
Texas, who was a 39 point favorite over AK State and won by just 8.

I think Colt Brennan just moved to the head of the list for the Heisman.

34-40 6 TDs 416 Yard 0 Ints

And oh by the way, that was in one half.

LOL! I don't see why any team would want to start out #1 -- you win by 28 points, and it is still a disappointment!

Those look like Florida State Seminoles. But at this point, affiliation is irrelevant. :)

Hawai’i runs a variation of the run n’ shoot that is nearly impossible to really genuinely stop. It’s the type of O that has the potential to score on every single play they run.

Please Blow Real Hard into a paper bag.

Will stop your hyperventilating and helps engage your sports brain long enough to listen to reason.

Stoops actually told his troops in the last quarter that if they broke one off not to score but down the ball.

The last quarter and one half of the game was meaning less .

If Stoops had wanted stats Oklahoma could have beaten North Texas by another 75 or 80 points.

Man this is better than smelling napalm in the morning.

In 1985 I was traveling from Miami to Oklahoma City.

For some reason it seemed like the entire plane was dressed in funky orange and or green.

Everyone was in a bragging, boisterous mood how they were going to beat the Okies.

That was back in the days when getting drunk on a plane was still possible and a little fist fight or shoving match in the aisle did not cause the plane to turn around or land at the nearest airport.

I hope Oklahoma tears Miami a new rectum but alas I don’t care as long as they win.

You forgot the rest of the story. Unranked Miami went to Norman and beat up on the then #3 Sooners. It is the game that launced Troy Aikman into his great career... with UCLA and then the Cowboys..
