"Angelina Jolie talks to a wheelchair-bound woman, one of some 1,300 trapped at the makeshift Al Waleed refugee camp inside Iraq, unable to leave the country for neighboring Syria August 28, 2007 in this photo supplied by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees."

"UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador U.S. actress Angelina Jolie (C) talks with Red Crescent volunteers taking care of refugee children while their parents wait to register as refugees at a UNHCR registration center in Damascus, Syria in this picture taken August 27, 2007 and released by the UNHCR on August 28. Jolie is on a two-day visit to Iraq and Syria to see first-hand the plight of four million people uprooted by the ongoing conflict in Iraq. "

Ya know, the old woman could leave the country if only AJ would adopt her.

Angelina is not an idiot liberal. I honestly believe she wants to help, with disregard to politics.
She also has adopted orphan children, so she practices what she preaches.
There are plenty of idiot hollyword stars, Angelina is not one of them.
Besides she is leaving Brad to marry me...

Angelina is not an idiot liberal. Well, maybe she is lot 'liberal'. Marrying Billy Bob Thorton, having his name tatooed on her body, marrying anyone named Billy Bob, and wearing a vile of blood from Billy Bob Thorton are going a long way to back up the 'idiot' part.

I’ve seen pics of her as a child, and she was big-lipped then. FAke or natural, though, they’re just too big.

oh dear, this caption made me smile.....laugh!!!
It does look that way....funny!..funny caption.
I don't know if she's a liberal or not...probably is...
..but I think her heart is in the right place....although everything else about her may be misguided.
I do admire her adopting children....where's the harm there?....
..and she's said her first child made her priorities change from dark deeds (blood & daggers) to a better outlook on life.
Hey, folks CAN change.

The thing that really bugs me about people like her, and much of the Hollywood crowd, is they preach peace, but star in movies that are violence filled. She’s there to see the ‘suffering’ of the people? Did she go when Saddam was ruling? No one knows how many died under his rule. The Iraqis are producing most of their suffering. Don’t blame America, lip monster.

"I honestly believe she wants to help, with disregard to politics." I agree. Of all the Hollywood 'activist', I think she's one of just a handful that are the 'real deal'. She uses her name and fame to actually DO something instead of simply climbing on a popular soapbox and spewing garbage.
Real or fake, I think her lips suit her. IMHO, she's one of the prettiest in Hollyweird. I do hope she mends her realtionship with her dad.

Could be. I seem to remember something about them getting along, maybe mending fences. Then her dad was being interviewed and he let it slip that she was adopting before she was ready to release that info. I remember seeing he speak about their estrangement and being very sad about it.
When my dad passed, we were close with no estrangement. I guess I want that for everyone. Something very special about the father/daughter relationship...course, being a daughter I'm biased. lol
