I don’t turn on my TV till evening time.....if I watched TV news, my doctor would have to double my BP medicine, I think!! It doesn’t seem to bother me as much if I read the news.

Good Morning! We were gone a total of 12 hrs. How’s that for a short Sunday Drive?

We hit the Antique Store in Maquokata and in Dyersville (home of the Field of Dreams baseball field), ventured on to Prairie du Chien, crossed the river and drove south back to Dubuque and caught the diagonal (151) back home.

The only unneeded thing we purchased was 2 Klondike bars!

I was looking for a wooden Buggy seat, but didn’t find one in good enough condition to purchase. I may have to get a reproduction. With kids around on a regular basis, it doesn’t seem to make sense to purchase a fragile one.

I need to go to Dubuque on a weekday, when the stores are open, to see what they have.

I had to wear a sweatshirt outside this morning when I went to inspect the overnight rabbit damage! Whoo Hoo!!

GOOD A.M. MOLLEY, NEWSBEE, LYSIE FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, HOT (WHAT ELSE) AND A MOST WONDERFUL DAY FOT T-H-I-S FAMILY, FIRST STEP WITH THE ATTORNEY ABOUT TJ, WHICH IS SIGNING THE PAPERS (I HOPE).

We had a most pleasant day yesterday, had a ‘dinner on the grounds’ here at our house for our church, kids took advantage of the pool, all brought covered dishes, dogs ate LOTS of chicken bones. Just like the times of old except without the horse drawn buggies, all cars and pickup trucks.

I am out of EVERYTHING in the food pantry here in my shack, gotta go to Sam’s and WallMart. Last time I went I got the mixed grits and I am a regular grit eater, it is unamerican to eat fancy grits, regular is the only kind.

Just heard that the Attorney General has resigned, Dems got what they wanted din;t they.

Time to go to the big house, talk to ‘youse guys’ later.

Bad/no PR in this administration has been a problem from the beginning and continues. The MSM is no help, I know.

THE DISHONORABLE ARLEN SPECTOR IS THE CULPIT, he did nothing wrong, heard someone say that he ‘didn’t recall’ a lot of times, the FIRST? dON’T THINK SO, SEEMS THAT ‘SLICK’ DID A LOT OF THIS TOO. EXCITED I AM!!!! tHE LAWYERS office just called back and this afternoon at 3 PM the papers will be signed for the adoption of TJ. I am just as happy and excited as the kids are, God smiles on a person in so many ways and here is a happy PawPaw. Tonight a bonified, certified new member of the Alfonso family, TJ Alfonso.

I was just reading over at Captainsquarters blog, the account of Gonzalez' resignation. The blogger is talking about Michael Chertoff as a possible replacement.
