Duane "Dog" Chapman is upset a $300,000 federal bond remains in place even though a Mexican judge has dismissed charges against him.
The TV bounty hunter posted the bond and was freed after being arrested last September as he fought extradition to Mexico.
He had been charged under Mexican law with "deprivation of liberty" for his 2003 capture of a fugitive convicted rapist in Mexico.
Mexican Judge Jose Alberto Montes dismissed the charges last month, ruling the statute of limitations had expired.

“Can (the US) they say prosecute someone on murder charges against an American citizen who murders in another country even if that country does not prosecute the American.”
I know the DoJ does that for under age sex violations. US/Europeans and Thailand have been working together to catch sex tourist in Thailand.

Dog made monkeys out of them, then Mexico dropped the case
and welcome him back if he checks in with them first.....
The DOJ will do anything to get Dog now : )

But is a fashion violation a federal felony that would require posting bond?
Not at all. It only requires an apology and a very small fine (five dollars).

And some things just aren’t worthy of concern.

Comparing Dog to illegals is like walnuts & watermelons. The charges were dismissed. Did you read the story?

He embarrassed them. He did what they were either too incompetent or too indifferent to do. Dog & the guys got the job done so this is their retaliation.

I read what was reported. Was there a statement as to why bond is not being dropped? Do you know the whole story? If so, please inform the world!!
BTW...the man did in fact break the law in Mexico. Although the charges in Mexico were dropped it doesn't mean the man was without guilt. Face it, the law is the law regardless the nation. Do you not get upset if laws are broken in the USA...and YES...the "Dog" is no better than an anyone entering our country with specific intentions of breaking the law.

The Feds' action makes no sense and can lead to far-fetched speculations. Is Luster's money behind it? The desire to kiss up to Mexico? Envy that Dog accomplished what the Feds failed? Dog is not sufficiently politically correct? Johnny Sutton and the Feds fearing Dog might go after illegal aliens?
Somebody said that Glenn Beck will discuss this case today on his show. According to some accounts, he broke no law in Mexico that called for prison time/trial.

It looks absurd. I saw a picture of Keith Richards recently and noticed the same thing. It is truly amazing that Keith Richards is still alive. Has to be Divine intervention (for some reason).

LOL. I'm not about to get dragged into that circle. When charges are dropped, they're dropped. What's happening here is people are allowing their personal dislike of Chapman to override what's really going on in this case which is the retaliation against them because the authorities failed to do their job in apprehending this criminal.
I am very happy that another woman will not be raped by Andrew Luster anytime soon.

There’s NO reason for this to be happening. Use your common sense. Or are you one of those doe eyed lemmings who believe Big Daddy Gubmint always tells the truth & has your best interest at heart? LOL.

Use your common sense. I am using common sense. I want to know ALL the facts, not just what the media prints. Do you know all the facts or is it you are just "assuming"?

He's been dead for years but nobody has the heart to tell him.

Up until now your only concern was the fact he broke the law in MEXICO-who dropped the charges (have you heard?). His praying, his language & his wardrobe. Your agenda is as obvious as this continued persecution of Chapman.
Maybe you can petition for Luster’s release. Clearly he’s the victim.

We need to pressure the U.S Magistrate to drop the bond. What's Dog's crime? Bringing a fugitive to justice? He should be given a medal, not treated like an outlaw!Dang right! I'm thrilled this pig is off the streets.

Up until now your only concern was the fact he broke the law in MEXICO-who dropped the charges As I questioned earlier...are there other charges of violating international law? Did he violate any treaties? Do you have any answers? ........... I didn't think so.
