May God continue to bless this precious child and her loving family.
My daughter was a preemie, too, but at 32 weeks she was already 4 lb 15 oz. I can't imagine 11 oz. The mom was lucky her preemie was a girl. For some reason, their survival rating is much higher than preemie boys.

My neice had her baby at 6 monthes, too. She was due the last of July and was born in April. She weighed 2 lbs 2 oz. and was 11 inches long. She is over 8 pounds now and doing great. They can work miracles now with preemies. And I just shudder to think how many 6 month babies have been aborted without batting an eye!

OH! PRAISE GOD! Thank you for this thread!! When my 21 yo was down on bedrest at 28 weeks, to try to keep my grandson, I was blessed by an article in PEOPLE magazine on this dear little one! I asked for a photocopy of it from the desk clerk at the place, and I brought it home for my daughter. We put it up on the livingroom wall, to encourage her. My grandson (held on til 37 weeks) is now 2 months old, healthy and a very good baby!! Both he and my daughter are doing well. Tamera was an inspiration to our family!! I will be sending the link to my daughters!! GOD IS SO GOOD!!
Look at those eyes! My grandson has the same gorgeous eyes! She is beautiful!
