I thought the W.O.T. gave us power to take the war to the terrorists. Wouldn’t that include Mexico?

WND is fine for funny stories but this is a deadly serious story - we need another source.

The “real” news sources on this don’t confirm anything about troops as far as I can tell...

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/mexico/20070809-1357-mexico-us-drugs.html

>>MEXICO CITY – (ASSOCIATED PRESS) Mexico’s top law enforcement official on Thursday confirmed the government is negotiating the details of a major drug-fighting aid package from the U.S., and described it as being “more important” than a similar plan for Colombia.

Attorney General Eduardo Medina told Mexico’s Radio Formula that the package could include funds for both equipment and training, but refused to give details, saying it was still in the works.

He did not elaborate on his declaration that it “certainly is more important than Plan Colombia,” a US$5 billion (euro3.62 billion) military aid plan that put U.S. troops on Colombian soil.<<

I forgot to ping Sundog to that reply.

Something is fishy about this entire deal.

I hope we don’t have al Queda in our area.

We bought potassium iodide tablets yesterday, we are looking at a generator today, and our MRE / survival kits are in order.

I have a few MREs stored, but may need to get some more. I’ve been looking at generators my self. Also, we have quite a bit of bottled water and other canned food. Plenty of propane for the gas grill and fish fryer.

Well, it’s Corsi, and WND publishes him exclusively, I think. Maybe Human Events does too.

In any case, all this info can be gotten somewhere. Corsi just compiles it and puts it together.

I don't know what to make of this - so we get to move assets to Mexico - Calderon fell for it?

I guess we'll know for sure if they change real estate ownership laws in Mexico. That will cause an avalanche of relocation to the south. Beachfront land for cheep cheep cheep!

If our military goes down there it will be ordered by Bush, but to protect the “undocumented workers” coming over from bigoted “natural birth” Americans ...

Why not? The USA has owned Mexico since the War. Not wanting to provide services because of the expense has about played out and the USA will have to become more active in administering the USA Territory of Mexico and that means shifting some line item expenses.

actually if you think about it, we’ve been talking about building the wall in the wrong place.

We would save alot of money, time, effort and frustration if we built the wall around Washington DC and shot anyone trying to leave.

I don’t want to over-dwell on this but I have found that WND has a tendency to over-state the story on occasion.
