Police in New Baltimore (Michigan) have taken the unusual step of releasing photos of a bloody message left at the scene of a double murder.. in the hope someone can decipher what it says. .

As a last act to help police identify their killer or killers, one of the Jabalees wrote a message in blood on the floor under their 2006 Jeep Wrangler, police said.The killer found the message and mopped most of it away, but six to seven letters remained under the vehicle, said Stevens.
Would be useful to know if this was the beginning or the ending of the message, and to see other examples of their writing to see how they typically formed letters.

I see “sculc”. Googling comes up with that as a surname. The face-down “c” was obviously drawn above the primitive “u” shape implying it was the next letter. May be totally off (probably so) but that’s all I can make out from the image.

Dang, I worded that wrong.......but hopefully you get the idea.

You may be near correct: the last name of the victims was Jabalee. In our area of Michigan/Ohio it is spelled Jabaly and is an Arabic/Lebanese/Syrian name.
They owned RJ's Meat Shop at the Eastern Market in Detroit according to the source below.
