R.I.P. Hal Fishman, a fixture at KTLA Channel 5. Other anchors and reporters came and went - Keith Olberman and Jan Carl to name two, but Hal kept on going. An aviation afficionado too.

Thank you Lainie. Hal was a good guy. He was treasured by his management. That says a lot about him and also a lot about them.
May he rest peace. I always thought he was a pretty decent human being.
