Howdy! Just getting ready for the Trick or Treaters here. Joseph has drawn some elaborate runes on the stairs and stoop with glow in the dark chalk that he made. He's also created a lighted box to go over the door. It's red rope lights in the back with a piece of plastic diffusion material covering it, and over that he's going to tape a 'Necromancer' symbol over it so the light will shine through the areas that are not black.

We're waiting to hear from Staples because he sent the design there for them to copy it onto transparent paper. We would have done it here, but the smallest amount of transparency stuff you can buy is 100 sheets for $30, and we neither needed that much, nor did we want to spend that much on it. This way, he's getting it done for $6. I'm just hoping they'll have it ready within the next hour so he can put it up over the door before it gets dark!
