The Hobbit Hole XXXIV - But better than rain or rippling streams...
Posted on 08/07/2007 7:52:15 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Still no clue, man... s’ok. There’s only six plots in the world and they’re all plagiarized anyway.

Long story short:
Knot's Landing was a spinnoff from
Dallas in the 80s. Donna Mills character had twins of Joan Van Ark character (mmmm...Joan Van Ark) stolen. Took a season or two to get 'em back.
Best Knot's Landing episode ever was when Alec Baldwin fell off a roof. It was beautiful.
(and I already knew you'd never seen the show...)

Speaking of catz. I did confirm that the mysterious substance on top of Luke’s dresser was in deed cat yak. Apparently she didn’t like my cleaning it up, so she left another just like it on the floor.
Now, where did we put that cat yak goop?

I dont think my original name (Liam) would really work, would it?I don't know; I think Liam Neeson is pretty manly.

Halvah yacked last night. Being Halvah, she did so on the carpet, literally *four inches* from where the linoleum started. I was tempted to take a photo.
*sigh*

I’m still amazed that Abby could get up on furniture that high without knocking anything over. Makes me wonder what else she does when we’re not there.

Sounds like you raised him right. Thanks. There have been times when that was questionable.

So, not to make this “let’s talk about Corin’s kids week” but...
Every Thursday night we get a packet of school work to review, sign and return. Wife usually does that with homework before I get home. She was gone last night.
Out of about 20+ papers on various subjects, Luke missed exactly ~one~ math problem...

LOL, was he that bad? Heh...read the first 20 or so threads. It was less "bad" than "lack of motivation."

I need to cast a patronus on a thread dementor...
