Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Yeah - we haven’t turned on the heat yet, but it’s chilly in the morning!
2J’s going to go on a ride early in the week. I get there before everyone else and we’re going then.
Not sure who Becky will have 2J ride.. Rocky or his daughter Dot probably :~)
I don’t recall either...she told me once and I could find out (it’s in a freepmail). Might do that later, I’m plum wore out from working on the blog! No kidding, it’s exhausting on dialup!
Check you out! All Ms. PowerTools!
I got some full finger gloves while I was at home - bike gloves, I mean. Have definitely needed them these past few days.
I love the way cold mornings feel in the fall, though...where it’s not yet freezing, but just kind of...bracing.
I just realized I misspelled dremel.
That dremel is my favorite tool. It’s small but doesn’t mess around when it comes to cutting through sheet metal.
Heh...regarding your tagline...the DJs on the station we usually listen to at work are trying to work that sound bite into every conversation.
Jim’s pretty good at it - he said it was about all he had to do some evenings last winter. He was cranking up the difficulty on almost all the songs...meanwhile I couldn’t do anything that involved more than one foot at once. ;-)
I wonder if there are any local places that sell good soft pads. The ones they had were pretty stiff and didn’t crumple - they had a thick foam part that fit together underneath the buttons.
Don't taze me, bro!
Hmmmmm.....three out of five computer models have Invest 93 blowing our way.
Ugh...I think I’m now coming down with the traditional post-travel creeping crud.
Riding home may be not much fun today. :-\
oh, dear.... keep hydrated and pray...
I am really sleepy today for some reason. Got enough sleep last night but man.
Maybe your way, but it will bypass our town (sigh) OB drove home through torrential rainfall yesterday,'til he got about 5 miles outside LS, and the rain stopped. It is so frigging dry, I'm afraid Gypsy is going to break her leg in thegroundcracks. LSA
We got the kids first soft dance pad on eBay. We ended up getting a second because when they had friends over, they liked to dance two at a time. When they got to where they were doing it a lot, we got them the metal pads for their combined birthday present. They really enjoyed them, and didn’t have to worry about the plastic pads slipping on the carpet.
That front is supposed to move back this-a way sometime tonight...so the weenies say...
I’ve got another ginger shoot coming up. Kewl!
[insert lolcat here]
i’m at momz, stealn ur wireless
Name rankings from the 1990 census. Extremely neat!
I just came in from diggin’.
I haz a smell.
Are you getting any rain yet? The storm looked like it might be hitting your area, but it is a very localized cell.
OB is at a night meeting so I'm taping "Kitchen Nightmares" for him. Bleech, the featured restaurant is the pits! LSA
