The FreeRepublic Saddle Club - (very out of date) Who's Who *pics*

This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)

I have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will ping everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list.

So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends.

Went to the barn today after all. The rain let up around 10, and I squeezed in a lesson. As I was leaving, the skies opened up.

! I thought about you last night when the Sox won. Figured you’d be all cranked up today. If they keep this up, it’ll be a very short Series!

Indeed! They're in Colorado right tonight, I'm wicked excited! I have my fingers crossed, they're benching Youkilis over Ortiz because of the no designated hitter rule in the National League. We'll see what happens. I don't agree with decision, but I'm not the Sox manager either. Pity. :-) Funny thing, I went to get myself some takeout a few minutes ago, and I couldn't figure out why anyone was on the roads at 7:30 on a Saturday night. Then I realized Duh! World Series! It's a ghost town out there!

Thanks. He sure has become a laid back horse. No fuss or argument with the headstall with feathers and the skin on his back. Even no confusion being ridden bareback which has never happened before.

What impressed me the most though was Sonny was right behind him and just watching. Neither of them fussing or hollaring.
