Loved the ride yesterday, the scenery was really neat. The little creeks everywhere are neat. I don’t know why we don’t have all the running water they have, we’re the ones who get all the rain! :~)

We’re just sitting here talkin’ about all the trails we’ve been on this week. I sure have enjoyed riding Rocky :~)

You think you will have problems with these winds coming thru? We broke a record yesterday. 92 degrees.

92 degrees...our high yesterday was probably 60 in the sun and out of the wind.

We regularly have winds up to 40-50mph here, building codes are for 80mph winds and we've had that on occassion. A friend of mine in Oregon that used to live here said about the winds and storms up there "just a breezy day in Carson City"

The major difference is that we don't have the huge trees to come down and rarely have enough rain to loosen roots. We just lose shingles and tin roofs, etc. Oh, and frequently have 18 wheelers turn over because they didn't believe the wind warnings.

I had fun carving it - I think I might carve the property defender after I give pumpkins to all the kids. I toasted the seeds too and they were delicious.
