If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Maybe so, however, I can’t keep up with myself. LOL

Are you kidding me! I’m still eating.
I started off with an omelet, some home-fries and toast. Must have been too much carbos because I downed a load of corned beef hash after that. Now I’m just finishing up fried eggs and sausages and eyeing the biscuits and gravy.

Yup, one cannot be very creative when daily demands draw on any creative trends one may have.
The muse is a fickle lady, she comes and goes for all writers.

The Art of Dreaming
Dream as free as crystal clear water down a brook
Flowing around the uncaring rocks of life
Let your dreams go unbidden beyond strife
No matter the strange and wondrous path you took
As wide as the universe and as deep as time itself
Dreams have no real limit, unbound and free
With horizons so wide, beyond what you see
They draw me on like a good book on the shelf
Let your dreams be the art in the gallery of your mind
With colors from a true Masters Palette, so rich and vibrant
And hold not back the scope of each adventures flow or cant
For only then, will you, a masterpiece finally, truly, find

Good morning everyone!

After Apple Picking
by Robert Lee Frost
My long two-pointed ladder's sticking through a tree
Toward heaven still.
And there's a barrel that I didn't fill
Beside it, and there may be two or three
Apples I didn't pick upon some bough.
But I am done with apple-picking now.
Essence of winter sleep is on the night,
The scent of apples; I am drowsing off.
I cannot shake the shimmer from my sight
I got from looking through a pane of glass
I skimmed this morning from the water-trough,
And held against the world of hoary grass.
It melted, and I let it fall and break.
But I was well
Upon my way to sleep before it fell,
And I could tell
What form my dreaming was about to take.
Magnified apples appear and reappear,
Stem end and blossom end,
And every fleck of russet showing clear.
My instep arch not only keeps the ache,
It keeps the pressure of a ladder-round.
And I keep hearing from the cellar-bin
That rumbling sound
Of load on load of apples coming in.
For I have had too much
Of apple-picking; I am overtired
Of the great harvest I myself desired.
There were ten thousand thousand fruit to touch,
Cherish in hand, lift down, and not let fall,
For all
That struck the earth,
No matter if not bruised, or spiked with stubble,
Went surely to the cider-apple heap
As of no worth.
One can see what will trouble
This sleep of mine, whatever sleep it is.
Were he not gone,
The woodchuck could say whether it's like his
Long sleep, as I describe its coming on,
Or just some human sleep.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
from whence cometh my help.from?
My help cometh from the LORD,
which made heaven and earth.

Aha, it was 43 here this morning, I turned the furnace on, I can’t stand to be cold.
The birds have not come back to the finch seed feeder, rats.
Maybe I will break down and get a new feeder for sunflower seeds - squirrels be danged or beware which ever comes first. LOL
To: Soaring Feather
Get a plastic”bell” to go over the feeder. I hope you can hang it higher than I can because some wily squirrels can leap up and hang onto the small rungs..I spent time chasing them away yesterday. Must go do so right now!

The squirrel catapult works wonders. One ride on it and they won’t be back.
