If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Well, heavens to Betsy, looks who is here!!
Poetess takes a well deserved bow! LOL

Betsy’s here???
I didn’t know they let her out of jail so soon after her pique of temper when she chased that traffic cop who’d given her a ticket, around the inside of the police station with her Toyota Four Wheeler.
Hard to imagine a mother of fifteen having such a short temper?
Nice poem kiddo, you get better like a good wine!

Ah, but like fine wine in which I do not imbide
my muse is less and less these days
disturbing me most profound
have all the poetry seeds
fallen onto to fallow empty ground?
Or is this a growing season
going on inside, to unveil its self one day
with poetry, by the pound.
Hope springs eternal! ;0)

Poetry comes when and where it decides
for we are but the medium to the muse
the pen to the canvas upon which it writes

Yes, it really is me and I have been up early for several days in a row. Yesterday, I was up before 7am -cable guy had an appointment from 8-12 and would call first. Did not have to have a new box, he did some magic with his meters and got things up and running.
Gorgeous day today temp is 66 right now, bright sunshine, and I even beat the sun up this morning. LOL

I am happy to hear that you have TV again. Hopefully you are getting stronger with each passing day. Yesterday it was 103 here. Today will probably be the same.

Thanks, yes I am, still I cautious about overdoing. WOW, that is hot! Our skies are the most beautiful color of Blue, a few puffy white clouds off to the west, but absolutely gorgeous.

Me thinks I’ll watch a movie- move
cell by cell, frame by frame
the scenes to steal for the stars good name,
their claim to stardom
is their bane.

Where I plan to retire in Arizona is hotter still. It has been as high as 112 recently. I guess my liking the desert climate is from all of the time that I spent in the ME.
