If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

We just got back from two nights camping on the Cape Cod Canal. Bourne Scenic Park is a campground run by the Army Corps of Engineers.
Our spot was 50 feet from stairs that went down to the canal. It was like a boat show and 90% of them were pleasure craft.
I'll post some photos here for anyone interested. I think this might've been the one from Bermuda. There's a confirming pic around here somewhere. Indicates the width of the canal.

Hi Lady, welcome home!! Looks like a beautiful place to camp.
Please post more pictures, I would love to see them. ;)
To: Lady Jag
LOL ducks and geese can be very aggressive, especially when they are raising their young.
To: Lady Jag
You’re like me, think we have a picture to go with anything, lol.
By the way, your camping trip on the Cape Cod Canal sounded like fun!

It is a beautiful place and we'll definitely go back.
This view looks South to the Bourne Bridge. The campground runs along the canal and under the bridge. I have a better photo of that beautiful sailboat. The road, also maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers, is smooth as silk and practically flat, attracting a lot of walkers, bicyclers, skaters and skate boarders. No civilian gas vehicles allowed.

Does a Road Go Both Ways?
The road,
winding down around the curve,
behind the dogwoods,
going someplace beyond the old iron bridge,
places I aint seen yet,
but I will,
I will!
Any change,
or is everything the same,
the place the same, or different,
like people just keep moving on and on,
and things I knew gone away
or to come back,
is there a back?
The road,
going away and coming back,
but never the same place,
for time is a door most uncertain and fey,
surprising in its revelations,
but Ill try,
Ill try!

If the need comes one day, who will answer the disparager’s call?

Choose who will the wiser part I have held her heart to heart; And have felt her heart-strings stirred, And her souls still singing heard
For one golden-haloed hour Of Loves life the passion-flower.
So the world may roll or rest I have tasted of its best;
And shall laugh while I have breath At thy dart and thee, O Death!
