[Soaring Feather]

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

The Weaver

My life is but a weaving, between my God and me,
I do not choose the colors, He worketh steadily.
Ofttimes he weaveth sorrow, and I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper, and I the underside.
Not till the loom is silent, and the shuttles cease to fly,
Will God unroll the canvas, and explain the reasons why
The dark threads are as needful in the skillful weaver's hand
As threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned.


He knows, He loves, He cares,
Nothing this truth can dim.
He gives His very best to those
Who leave the choice with Him.

Precious, absolutely precious poem and graphic.

Is your weather in a cool down mode? Last night temps here went to the 50s, such a change. I did sleep well once I gave in to sleep, I was in a movie watching mode.

Tonight we may have record lows - the current record is 52º.

It’s only 68 now.

I’m having a time waking up today and I didn’t do my movie mode.

Scent of a Woman, Al Pacino-

Space Cowboys, Clint Eastwood, Donald Southerland, Jim Garner
and another whose name I can’t remember.

Various bits and pieces of other favorites.

Our temps are about the same today. Nice weather.

How’s life treating you?? New baby girl how is she doing??

Is the store set up? I am so behind....

We just got back from vacation,all 19 of us:)She was with us.She is getting big and very pleasant.She even laughs while she is drinking her bottle.The store just got approved by the township right before I left so there is much to do there.The TV show is in editing and we will be ready for that in a few weeks hopefully.

Going well now, had some bumps in the road with a miserable 4 weeks this summer, I was sick. Still on the recovery road taking baby steps to insure no set backs.

Other wise, all is well. My needs are met. ;0)

Here we are nearly into September, where does the time go??

My garden is a wreak -I have not been able to tend it. I have purple cone flowers blooming now. Had gorgeous Iris in June.

Each day is new with its bright promise and at times poor performance. LOL
