I mentioned on the weekend thread that French President Nicolas Sarkozy was visiting the US in New Hampshire instead of European resorts. Apparently, he got into a brouhaha with reporters yesterday while boating. He jumped into the AP reporter's boat and let him have it verbally in French. I guess he takes vacationing with his family very seriously and when he says I want to be alone, he means it. ;-)
Next time, you’re going to have to go to Wally world with your daughter. You know that don’t you?
You will definitely be punished for this act of defiance.
NOW,, get inside and stay cool the rest of the day.
That’s right!
Thanks for backing me up, lysie.
Men! Scheesh!
Yup!
My man is at a Turtle Club clambake. ;-) They meet about 3 times a year. Most of the men are much older than Greg. They love sitting and telling him stories of the past almost as much as Greg loves hearing them.
Dog our prayers for peace and strength are being sent for you and your family. I’m so sorry to hear what happened.
Peace FRiend.

Good Morning....well, at least, it’s morning. ONLY gonna be 101 degrees today, so that’s gooder [sic] than yesterday’s 104. (Sometimes, it takes a magnifying glass to find the good news.)
Got a cert. letter on the fence yesterday.....Yuck....now I gotta call the attorny
Good luck, Rave. They’re vulnerable IMO because one board member DID notify you that the fence was approved. Waiver time.
Looks to be hot and muggy these next few days, but a cold front is winging down from the north and should be through here on Monday. Temps forcasted to be in the upper 70's later next week!
Persiad meteor showers forecasted for this weekend. Sunday night should peak, with about 60 per hour.
Thanks for the heads up about meteor showers, NY. Now all I have to do is remember to look outside on Sunday night.
What a pita, Rav. Hope you can outmaneuver those arrogant power hungry elitists.
Thanks for the nice breakfast, lysie. How is your neck???
Thanks for checking in Neets. How are you feeling?
Mom and Dad doing okay, Dog? And you?
Jem: When do you leave?
Molly: Wedding sounded lovely and sweet. Glad you’re back safely.
Thanks for the Persiads reminder, NY. The skies are supposed to clear, and I'd read that this year's event is expected to be excellent.
