Bill O'Reilly Slams Freerepublic
Posted on 07/29/2007 3:49:13 PM PDT by WyCoKsRepublican
I recently tuned in to the Radio Factor to hear Bill O'Reilly saying that he was hated by Freerepublic and that it was an extreme right wing blog. First of all, Mr. O'Reilly is not hated. I have a lot of respect for the man, his honesty, integrity and point of view. What I don't like, as do many Freepers, is that when he is on target on some key issues, he is way off target on others. He needs to realize that we even disagree amongst ourselves quite often. I get my daily dose of talk radio, Rush, Dr. Savage, Boortz, Levin and O'Reilly. Why does he always have to thrash a conservative i.e. Ann Coulter in the same breath when he's zapping a liberal? Let's just say that when some of us disagree with him, he needs to be "de-spun" on occasion. It's called "tough love" Mr. O'Reilly. The Great Oz has spoken.

I see that you did. Personally, I like O’Reilly quite a bit.

Bill is just P.O.’d because FreeRepublic doesn’t have a link to his web site. (s)
Hey, Bill!
FreeRepublic is a conservative forum, and you aren’t a conservative.
So don’t act so offended when we point out the obvious!

The Daily Kos is claiming that Lowes pulled their ads from O’Reilly. Has anyone heard about it?

This is why Conservatives need to take over the Republican party
That begs the questions why have the Conservatives waited this long? Why didn't they take control many years ago from the socialists in the party?

O’Reilly likes to portray himself as being hated for his “honesty.” It’s just meaningless self promotion. Ignore it.

Not to mention that FReepers frown upon middleaged married men making obscene phone calls to the women who work for them!

I don't hate O'Reilly. He's not up there with Rush, and he ought to use his clout to avoid the Paris Hilton overload. (Surely he's enough of a big shot to tell the bigger shots that he's sick of the Tabloid stuff.)

I also like him more than I dislike him, but I wish he'd quit doing the RINO thing to try and make Everbody like him. Cus' it's obviously not working.
His no longer talking about 'big oil', guns or cars anymore also wouldn't hurt him, cus' he doesn't know jack about any of them either!
And I ain't talkin' Cafferty.

I lost it for O’Reilly when the Paris Hilton porn video surfaced. O’Reilly made the comment that he had watched the video then issued his critique of her sexual performance. I realized right then that there was nothing redeeming in the man.

O'Reilly's just upset that none of us at Free Republic bought his doormats, books, or other crap he sells.
Dude needs to stick a loofah in it.

Bill O’Reilly, in my opinion, selects easy targets at times. It dimishes his objectivity. I get tired of him demeaning Ann Coulter just to try to show he can trash both the right and the left. This to me is gutless. There are times I want to hoist a cheer to the man, other times I want to “drop kick” my radio across the yard.
