Given that he drove from VA to TX and stayed mad enough to try to burn the guy out of his trailer, I can't see how a couple of years in jail is going to help. The next time he tells somebody he's on his way, they need to put hole in him when he gets there. ...just my opinion though. :-)

Yeah, I thought the article was a bit misleading as well. It said that he was on leave and gave his job as well as his designator - sounded like he was active duty Navy. Then it went on to say how he had been discharged from the Navy last year. I may need to go back and read that part. My dates are messed up.

If he was discharged because of his criminal action, which makes sense, then it should be clear in the article.
