To: Not gonna take it anymore
I think my great grandparents lived by those rules and they were in their 90s. Desserts were served with supper not hours later. Why? Because they didn't have huge amounts for supper.

Conversation was always part of supper. It was considerd part of the meal.

I grew up like this as well. Then I started listening to all of the “eat small meals a hundred times a day” (okay maybe not a hundred times a day but a lot) and I started gaining weight.

I tried the other ways of eating, like Atkins, Low fat, high carb, etc and I was smaller but miserable. And I was still eating many times a day.

This has been awesome for me and really makes a lot of sense. When you think about it, eating constantly gives the body no time to actually put the food to good use. You’re overloading the system without pause.

This way of eating starts making you feel better in just a few days. Amazing but true.
