There has been a complete power failure at the St. Louis Arch. Over 100+ people are stuck at the top of it and more are in tram capsules that go up to the top. Right now there is a major rescue operation going on to get them out. The are all going to have to walk down the cat walk stairs to get down.
Well most folks from STL (like me) call it The Arch or St. Louis Arch... but yes the official current name is the Gateway Arch. I believe when it was built and for many years after that it was just called the St. Louis Arch. So the unofficial names has stuck with many of us ol’ St. Louis folks.
