This show has the worst writing I have seen this side of a soap opera. Wait, this dreck IS a soap opera!
The blond cylon is hot, though.

Just as long as we don’t see flying motorcycles.

Isn’t this a SPOILER? I don’t recall it on the show, maybe I missed the Episode> Or has there been a public announcement?
To: KevinDavis
Well, the actors reaction seems to mirror the characters they play from what I remember of that episode.
It’s a shame this is the last season. If NBC/Universal didn’t blow all their cash on the Global Stupid concerts maybe we could get another season?

Psuedo-Spoiler, at any rate.
At the end of the last season, those guys THOUGHT that they were Cylons, which was a STUPID thing to think and would be even STUPIDER if it were true.
Looks like the show will go out with a whimper after all.
I'd hoped that there would've been enough fan outrage to have them reconsider it. (Actually, I really didn't think that they were going to go through with it in the first place.)
It really is turning into a big steaming turn pile.
Which is a shame considering the show that we could have gotten.

OMG! those were about the best thing about Galactica 1980 except for the Starbuck episode.

I think it’s a kick ass development. You shouldn’t whine so much.

This was ONCE the “best on TV”. Season I and the Mini were untouchable.
Then midway through the second season... they ran out of original material from which to copy... and the show has been dropping like a rock ever since.
For most all of the last (3rd) season it had less than 1 million viewers.
The Cylon ending was a desperate ratings gimmick....
It failed.
The show now SUCKS beyond words.
If you haven’t seen it at all... Season 1 and the first half of season 2 are worth the DVD price.... then just pretend it was canceled and ignore the rest.

Im an eternal optimist, but the show has become a bore to watch. Of course Ill watch, but not with the enthusiasm of the 1st and 2nd season.

BSG lost me in the third season. The episode that pretty much did it for me was the one where they discovered the virus that kills Cylons and Helo took it upon himself to foil the plan to use it against them, citing ethical reasons. What was portrayed as a ethical stand is in fact a very unethical decision, because instead of preventing genocide, he in fact enabled it to continue. Yet he was show to be a hero for this.

Dittoes - though I nearly left the show over the Pegasus rape-torture episode of season 2. That's where it started coming off the rails for me.
It bounced back with the awe-inspiring "Exodus, Part 2" in Season 3, but then in the 2nd half of this last year I think it permanantly crashed.

Which is a shame considering the show that we could have gotten. I'll have to wait to see the entire season to make my judgement. You probably should too, although it is something of a kick in the teeth.

I thought that the moral dilemma was a wholly self-indulgent argument. The morally superior attitude in light of the fact that the Cylon MACHINES had exterminated billions of people? The human race as they knew it was just about gone and they want to worry about their place in history? How they might be judged for committing some act of genocide when not killing their enemy might result in their elimination?

Thank you - people are quick to judge and I have been fascinated that things that annoyed the holy **** out of me at first suddenly turn into interesting plot twists. I will be interested to see where the final season goes.
