I wonder if this was the haunted lighthouse that was featured on that ghost tv show where they videoed the chair suddenly sliding across the floor. That was pretty creepy.

If it were in Maine, Stephen King might buy it.

No that was in St Augustine FL.

I hope the town does decide to buy it and keep it up. It’d make a great tourist spot ... bed & breakfast? What fun!
To: sono
You can bet I’d pay a dollar for it.

Crap. I should have known someone would post the scene from Robocop.
To: Fawnn
Heck, if we turn around and sell it b/4 the property tax bill comes in.....we’ll *cough* turn a profit!

I could live there! I keep thinking of John Masefield:
I must down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by,
And the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking,
And a grey mist on the sea's face, and a grey dawn breaking.
I must down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.
I must down to the seas again, to the vagrant gypsy life,
To the gull's way and the whale's way where the wind's like a whetted knife;
And all I ask is a merry yarn from a laughing fellow-rover
And quiet sleep and a sweet dream when the long trick's over.
There, in the lighthouse, I await to guide the ship on the sea passage to a safe harbor.

Th St. Augustine lighthouse was a later show. The one with the chair was in Rhode Island, I believe. The lighthouse looked similar to the picture in post #4.

Hey, BG!
Instead of a haunted lighthouse for a buck
How about a haunted liquor store for 50 cents?
I mean it comes complete with beer, wine, and spirits!
Right, Fawnn?

We would like to buy it if we could move it to the Texas coast.

The one where the chair slides is Race Rock. I think you can see that
here.
